COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT APPLICATION Revised: March 30, 1998 Ripco Communications Inc. is a registered corporation in the state of Illinois, providing commercial and personal internet access services. Quick Reference to Ripco's commercial rates All business-level accounts are charged on a quarterly (three month) basis, the first quarter's payment is due with the account request. You will receive an e-mail notice two weeks before the account expires. All accounts can be prepaid up to one year in advance. Web Page design is not included in the account rate, however we will provide design services by the page or for an entire site, at competitive rates. Business PPP/Shell - $60/quarter Includes all features of regular shell accounts, including virtual SLIP/PPP, plus use of the low-volume user home pages on pages.ripco.com for business purposes. This includes imagemaps and form mailing, but no other CGI-BIN facilities. Business shell can be combined with Domain Name Service to forward all mail for your domain into your regular e-mail account, and to send mail as user@yourdomain.com instead of user@ripco.com. Commercial PPP/Shell - $90/quarter All the services of the business shell plus real, dynamic-address PPP and use of a httpd (Web) server accessed by your domain name (e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/ ) and enhanced technical support. The ripco.com domain disappears as the target address, both for web address and email. Account includes the first 200 Mb of traffic per month with additional traffic billed at $0.10/Mb. This account also includes ability to use cgi-bin script access, separate log files with a monthly summary, and virtual SLIP/PPP. Corporate Web - $300/quarter All the features of Commercial accounts but with extended limits for both output (100 Mb/day) and disk space (50Mb). This account also includes direct access to your server traffic and 50Mb of disk space. Along with cgi-bin access, this account includes direct access to your server's log files, automatic server content indexing and a 20% discount on consulting services from MSG.Net, Inc. involved in setting up your site and connection. PAY ONLY OUR $50 DNS FEE AT THIS TIME Consulting services - $60/hour Services available include web design, CGI authoring, and special account setup. 30% Discount on consulting to set up connectivity, special account configurations or initial system setup for Corporate account customers CGI-BIN facilities The Commercial and Corporate accounts include your own cgi-bin directory. CGI (Common Gateway Interface) scripts allow you to invoke programs in response to requests from web users. A common use is to accept information from HTML forms such as order requests. Access Logs Log file information and monthly summaries are included with these accounts. Corporate and Commercial accounts have their own separate summaries available on the web and sent via e-mail. Additional services available for a low fee * Mail autoresponder sends a single document when a message is mailed to a special username, available for a flat fee of $45/quarter. * Anonymous FTP to allow files or programs to be distributed via FTP. either directly (ftp.yourdomain.com) or via links in your web pages. $75/quarter, limited to same traffic output as included with your primary account. Terms and Conditions RCI reserves the right to adjust our rates in the future, and to refuse or terminate service at its own discretion, including for violation of our or our upstream's acceptable use policy. RCI reserves the right to limit or otherwise filter email and other connectivity to or from any address adversely affecting server security and reliability. Refunds on account cancellation will be for the remaining service term from when your cancellation request is verified (by phone, M-F). Shell accounts are for the sole use of the business paying for the account, with only one connection (login) per account allowed at any one time. There are NO restrictions on the content or resale of the Web page space aside from those imposed by law, and by the Acceptable use policy.
